This is sort of a jazz thing, but not really. Jazz musicians did made it, though.
Various influences can be heard - so if you are into e.g. Nels Cline, Mark Ribot, Bill Frissell, A.D.H.D., but also Portishead, Dirty Three, early Pink Floyd, etc. you might find it interesting. Or not.

The album was recorded live in the studio, with occasional additional overdubs.
